Cdr Praveen Kumar is a veteran with over 2 decades of rich experience in leadership roles in Information Technology and Cyber Security. Praveen’s passion and talent lie in building secure systems. Over the years, he has steered various Information Technology & InfoSec projects from conception to delivery and ensured balance between security and convenience to achieve customer satisfaction.
Currently, he is the Chief Information Security and Data Protection Officer at ZEE Innovation & Technology Centre - a part of ZEE 4.0 digital transformation. In his current role, he is responsible for enterprise-wide information security, privacy, compliance, and business continuity management.
Praveen has demonstrated expertise in building and leading large teams, handling technology risk, security, privacy and governance programs. He is known for leveraging his technical skills, operational background, and strong business acumen to align risk management with executive vision. Praveen is an evangelist for security across corporate functions, with strong abilities to garner support at executive and board level.
