As a result, security practitioners are working to build effective cyber defenses and leverage new technologiesin light of the changing threat landscape.

Information Security Media Group's Fraud and Breach Prevention Summit, to be held Tuesday and Wednesday at Hotel Vivanta by Taj in Bengalaru, will offer expert insights on best practices.

This dual-track event, which will feature about 35 presentations by CISOs and other experts, is designed to address the needs of CISOs, fraud and risk teams, security and IT professionals, and others by providing hands-on tools and real-world solutions.

The summit will bring together thought leaders from the private sector, as well as technology providers, to discuss the best ways to secure organizations' critical data against evolving threats with the use of contemporary technology and tools.

Featured Speakers

The summit will commence with a keynote address by Vishal Salvi, CISO of Infosys Ltd. He will speak about the challenges posed by the changing threat landscape and the new attack trends.

The spotlight session on "Securing the Payments Business in a Cashless Economy" will feature Bharat Panchal, senior vice president and head of risk management at National Payments Corporation of India.

Jayesh Ranjan, principal secretary to the government of Telangana, will offer a keynote address on "Protecting and Defend Your Critical Infrastructure Against the Unknown Cyberthreats."

The plenary session by Vinit Goenka of the Ministry of Railways will dive into the lessons India can learn from the Facebook/Cambridge Analytica privacy controversy.

Plus, a session by Sunil Varkey, CISO, Wipro Ltd., will offer a discussion of cyber risk management as a key enabler to provide the context necessary to make informed decisions.

Other sessions include:

  • "Handling Threat Intelligence and Hunting Operations with AI," featuring Sridhar Sidhu of Wells Fargo;
  • "Endpoint Detection and Response - Will EDR Go Mainstream?" presented by Sethu Raman of Mphasis;
  • "Blockchain: Enhancing Authentication for Enterprise Security and Fraud Prevention," by Prasanna Lohar of DCB Bank;
  • "Targeted Attacks: Proactive Prevention Using Deception Technologies," by Prakash Padariya of GE.

Plus, panel discussions on Aadhaar security, GDPR, CASB and IoT will feature thought leaders offering timely insights.
