The situation has gotten out of hand, said Debasish Mukherjee, vice president of sales for the APJ region at SonicWall, who makes the case for a platform approach.
"My question to all businesses is: How many tools can you buy? If 3,500 vendors are offering even 10 products, there would be so many products," said Mukherjee. "It is impossible to look at so many products, and even then, can you guarantee that so many products will give you 100% security?"
