Navigating the evolving regulatory landscape and strengthening cyber resilience and third-party risk management are the top challenges for CISOs in any sector, but especially so for those in the banking and financial services sector, said Arijit Chakraborty, vice president and head of cybersecurity solutions and services at the Societe Generale Global Solution Center.

"I always believe in getting the fundamentals right. That sets a very strong stage to do something bigger. CISOs must execute the basics with brilliance because threat actors commonly use this as a weakness to enter, navigate and compromise the organization's environments," he said.
